1) How is Ayiti different from 3rd World Farmer? How is it the same?

ayiti is harder then 3rd world farmer and you haveto choose a living style. they are both about farming in poor living.

2) What strategies did you use? For example, did you combine work and school, or did you send everyone to work? Which worked? Which did not?

i sent all of my people to work to gain money and every season, i sent someone new to school. it did not work and all of my family members died of bloody diarrhea.

3) Why would parents choose to devote so much effort to sending their children to school? What obstacles did you face in trying to keep them in school?

if you send your kids to school, they have better chances of work, they can get a diploma and they gain happiness. i order to keep then in school you had to work and gain money for the expensive and good school. when you ran out of money, your child could not go anymore.

4. What would the game “Lower East Side: The Cost of Life” look like? What choices would your family have to make to be happy, healthy, have money, and be well-educated. What obstacles would stand in your way?

the game would look alot like ayiti only with the problems we face in the lower east side. the family will have to either go to school, work illegally, work legally, go hang out with a bad group of friends or stay home. obsticales would be cops, getting cought with drugs, rent, bad friends, weather, hobos asking for money, and food expenses.

life as a 3rd world farmer was hard and very difficult. if you didn't farm correctly, your crops would die, you would lose money or a family member might die.

2) Explain your strategy to do well in this game.

i would always leave about $15 between the years for yearly cost so that my family wouldn't die and i wouldn't have to depend completion on the crops

3) What ideas does 3rd World Farmer give you for designing your healthy eating game in Scratch?

it gave me the idea to make a game where you would choose what to do each day and the next day you would get the results of what you did and how it effected your health

the detention centers are like death holes, its a very cruel way to get immigrants to leave the USA. first of all your beat and not given any medication. your could be seriously injured and they would not attend to you, one girl, had gone into labor and they did not let her use the bathroom unless she wore handcuffs.

2) How did playing this game make you feel?

the game made me feel sad for those immigrants that are put into detention centers and killed or forced to sign papers to leave the USA and never return.

3) What do you think the Unites States should do differently with their immigrants?

they should give them a chance to gain citizenship or give them a chance to take their case to court.

4) If you finished the game, what did you find out about Boubacar’s death?5) Now that you’re officially a game designer, how would you improve this game?

boubacars death was unfair, he died because of the brutal torture happening in the detention center, the detention center tried to cover it up by saying the he died during a fall but in reality he died because of the inhuman behavior happening in the detention center.

i would improve the game by adding more facts and making the game a little bit longer.

no it is actually dirtyeir then tap and somtimes is tap. and studys prove most people chose tap over bottled

bottled water is made by burning oil which causes ppollutin and when we throw it out 20% gets recycled and 80% ends up in landfills where it sits for years or in insiderators where they are burned. some are sent to india where it is down cycled and ends up in someones back yard.

water life was interesting and at the same time boring because the animals and the girl continued talking and some of the conversation was boring. on the other hand the games were fun and at the same time educational. it was entertaining and it did teach me a few things like how the trash effects every thing. the designers could have put more mini games and less talking between them. but over all it was good not very good but fine.

yes they have milk to drink and the food taste bad but it is some what heathy.

2. What do you eat for lunch?

hamburgers,fries,fish,corn,cheese sticks,pizza.

3. Would you like to see more fresh and healthy foods in the cafeteria? If so, what?

yes I would like to see more freash food because the food they give was frozen for a while and not as fresh as just came out of oven.
